KALITEC PRODUCT WARRANTY

KALITEC products are guaranteed against excessive discoloration due to UV rays for a period of fifteen (15) years, and against perforation due to rust for a period of twenty-five (25) years from date of delivery. In addition, all Kalitec products are covered by a one (1) year warranty against all manufacturing defects.

At the end of the warranty period, KALITEC’s responsibility is limited to the replacement of posts with defects occurring within the 0 to 15 year period. From the 16th to the 25th year, posts will be replaced according to their replacement value, less depreciation of 10% per year.

For the warranty to remain valid, KALITEC products must be stored, assembled and installed as per KALITEC specifications, and current government and industry standards.

The warranty does not apply to finishing on panels using reflective vinyl, vinyl lettering or digital printing, which has an optimal life expectancy of 5 to 15 years (depending on the type of vinyl used and orientation toward the sun). The warranty is void if the KALITEC product has been altered, repaired, subject to a catastrophic event, natural disaster, unusual physical stress, accidents, acts of vandalism, collisions, abnormal conditions of utilization or operation, excessive environmental conditions, poor storage or inadequate protection, or used in a way that does not conform to recognized engineering practices or industrial standards.
