Our oven-baked electrostatic paint provides an impeccably robust finish.
When receiving raw materials, particular attention is paid to treating the various products to ensure maximum paint adherence and reduce surface imperfections. We apply an optimal coating of polyester powder via an electrostatic operation. The products are then baked in our ultramodern oven at the plant in order to fuse the paint with the other ingredients. The result is a product of very high quality, with a flawless finish and exceptional durability!
Our protective, heat-applied, anti-graffiti and anti-UV coating, exclusive to Kalitec, protects your investment.
Kalitec has developed an innovative process of applying a protective anti-graffiti coating baked at high temperature. Applied to a vinyl with digital printing or vinyl lettering, it provides complete protection from marking pens and paint of all kinds. Graffiti can be completely removed using our special cleaner.

We use first quality materials that won’t rust, including aluminum, stainless steel and hot-dipped galvanized steel.
In a highly abrasive environment, it would be unthinkable to use materials that rust. Even the steel we use is subject to a 4-step treatment that we call K4TM technology.

GalvanikTM: Steel parts are plunged into a zinc bath so that both interior and exterior surfaces are covered.

MecanikTM: Light sanding allows elimination of surface imperfections and improves adherence of the finishing coat.

ChimikTM: Phosphate cleaning of the surface improves resistance to corrosion and adherence of the finishing coat.

ThermikTM: The parts are then degassed by baking in our oven in order to further improve adherence of the finishing coat.

Our KalifixTM breakaway pin constitutes the most important part of the Kalitec signage system, offering you important savings.
Linking the post to the steel anchor embedded in the ground, the Kalifix breakaway pin is designed to bend and break on impact, allowing the other components to be recovered. It can be replaced in five minutes by a single employee, which further reduces maintenance costs.
Our anchorage system for park and municipal building signage projects allows you to economize by eliminating costly and unsightly cement bases.
The Kalitec anchorage system allows you to completely eliminate cement bases in nearly all small to medium-sized projects. You will therefore be able to install our structures more rapidly, without damaging the environment and at a lower cost.

Our modular concept for signage and display structures allows our clients to install their structures themselves. In order to improve the appearance of signage panels, all screws and bolts are positioned inside or behind the panels.

Our posts, using KalifixTM breakable pins, are approved by the National Cooperative Highway Research Program 350 (NCHRP 350), the American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials (AASHTO) and the Ministère des Transports du Québec (Quebec Department of Transport ).
N.B.: Quebec standards require breakaway structures on roadways where the speed limit permitted is over 50 km/hour.
Our system for attaching street names to posts is designed so that it remains firmly in place on the post, eliminating the risk of the panels penetrating the passenger compartment of a vehicle, and preventing it from hitting a cyclist or pedestrian.
N.B.: For this reason, Le Guide de bonnes pratiques (Best Practices Guide) published by the Association québécoise du transport et des routes (Quebec Association of Roads & Transportation) and Infrastructure Transport advises against using attachments of type SU-30, SU-33 or SU-40.
